About: Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm a lifelong animal lover with over three decades of experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up with pets and continuing to raise them as an adult has taught me just how special the bond between animals and their people truly is. Since 2019, I've volunteered with Wishbone, our local dog shelter, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in nearly every area—from daily dog walking and adoption meet-and-greets to processing applications and fostering pups in my home. I’ve fostered everything from bouncy puppies to wise senior dogs and understand that each pet has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I'm also the go-to cat sitter for my brother and have plenty of experience keeping kitties calm, happy, and cared for when their humans are away. Whether it's belly rubs, leash walks, litter box scooping, or quiet snuggles, I truly love it all. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members, and I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I work from home M-F so I am always around to care for your doggo or kitties. I have 50/50 custody of my two boys (who are gentle, kind animal lovers) so they are sometimes here, sometimes not. I have a fenced in yard and they will have free range of my house, unless they need a kennel to feel safe. Fostering taught me every dog is unique and has different needs and I am always willing to work with that. I have two dogs of my own who are used to fosters coming in and out and never seem to have a problem with new dogs or cats.

“Brittany was great with my dog and my dog had a great time playing with hers! They went on a walk and she sent my several pictures of my dog to keep me updated!”

Whether she’s caring for her own pets or looking after someone else’s, Amy approaches each animal with patience, gentleness, and a deep sense of responsibility. What stands out most about Amy is not only her attentiveness, but also her willingness to learn and adapt. She doesn’t just go through the motions—she takes the time to understand each animal’s unique personality, needs, and quirks. I’ve seen her research new techniques, ask questions, and go the extra mile to make sure every pet in her care feels safe and loved. I would entrust Amy with any of my animals without hesitation. He doesn’t just worry about feeding them properly and letting them outside quickly just to “do their business”. Daniel D.
“Want to start by saying that our cats LOVE when Daniel is over at our place! That is why he has been our dedicated pet sitter for the past two years. We have found that as long as we give him a reasonable notice, he's been available almost every time we have requested he look after our pets when we are out of town. He has even sent us photos of our cats while we are out (which honestly, can be a relief to us at times when we've been gone for a few days missing them). With Daniel, you are in good hands!”
