“Gilian was an amazing choice for boarding my dog! First we did a meet and greet at a local dog park, and then welcomed my dog to her home for a week+ of boarding. My anxious pup felt comfortable here after a couple days, and was well cared for. We can't do boarding kennels because of my dog's anxiety, so I'm so glad we found this service! I got updates daily about activities and behavior, as well as photos and videos! Gilian is knowledgeable handling anxious dogs, and she has good techniques on introducing dogs to new environments, dogs and people to help ease anxiety. I highly recommend Gilian!”

About: I have been self-employed as a full-time dog sitter for the past 15 years. Prior to opening my dog sitting business I worked as an assistant dog trainer using positive reinforcement training methods. I require a meet and greet before confirming dates so you can see where your dog will be staying, you and your dog(s) can meet me in-person and see the house and yard. We will also discuss their care and specific needs. I have been a dog parent since 2004. I am a full-time dog sitter so I am always with the dogs to ensure they are properly cared for and getting all the exercise, love and attention they deserve. Dogs go in/out as much as they want and get all the love and attention they would just like at home. The yard is fully fenced and there is a ramp so senior dogs have an easier time getting in/out. I have crates set up for those dogs that are normally crated but it is not required for a dog to be crated. All dogs are allowed on the furniture and there are several dogs beds to choose from as well. Of course you can always bring your own if your dog would feel more comfortable having something from home. There is no shortage of treats, cuddles and time outside. I have experience caring for senior dogs, those with medical conditions, separation anxiety and fear of new people.

Mornings and evenings are more flexible, allowing for longer walks, playtime, and extra attention. Your dog will be part of a calm, consistent routine with lots of love and care built-in. Your dog safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs – whether they love being part of the action or prefer a quiet space to relax. I have a designated area in the home that can be used for alone time if your dog needs to take a break to decompress. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine – whether that means crating, letting them roam freely, or something in between. While, we don’t have a fenced yard, I use a secure, dependable, long tie out that gives dogs space to explore safely and take care of business. Our home also backed up to a beautiful park with a walking trail perfect for frequent and relaxing walks. You can rest easy knowing your dog will be cared for an a safe, loving environment, with plenty of attention, exercise, and tail wags. I do have two children who are also avid dog lovers, and look forward to playing with your pup.
