About: I've been training and taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old! I have housetrained, crate trained, taken Canine Good Citizen and other obedience classes, and done several years of agility training with my dogs. If you have an active dog, we can go running, hiking, or for long walks around the neighborhood. If you have a couch potato, we can lounge all day! I currently have a five year old Dalmatian mix, Izzi, who loves making new friends! She is very friendly and easygoing, and would love playing with your dog. Izzi comes with me to housesit, so your dog will have a playmate the whole time. I work remotely 2-3 days a week and am available most weekends! My remote schedule is fairly flexible, especially if coordinated in advance, so if you need weekday sitting we can probably work something out! While I don’t have a fenced in yard, Izzi and I go for several walks each day, so your dog will get lots of exercise! My own dog suffered from severe separation anxiety when I adopted her two years ago. We are also working to get over her fear of the car. I know what it's like to be trapped in your house with an anxious dog! If your dog can't be left alone (or is delicate in other ways), let me know and I can make sure to stay with them the entire time. I can work with you to make your dog's experience the best possible! Please tell me any special behavioral or medical needs that your dog has.

Jenna A.
“Jenna has been an absolute blessing to our furry family members. Over the past several years, she's cared for our two dogs, Buddy (140lb Great Dane mix) and Nick (Senior Rat Terrier/Jack Russell mix), on countless occasions, from weekend trips to extended vacations, and I can unequivocally say she is a responsible and loving pet caregiver. Her dedication and care are truly remarkable. She doesn't just feed them and let them out; she genuinely engages with them. She plays with them, takes them on long walks, and even cuddles with them on the couch. Nick, who is blind and deaf, can be standoffish but warmed up to Jenna almost immediately. That speaks volumes about her gentle and patient nature. Buddy, our energetic and giant lapdog, is always eager to see Jenna. She keeps him happy and well-exercised, a testament to Jenna's commitment to meeting their individual needs. Jenna is incredibly reliable and organized. She always follows our detailed instructions to the letter, whether it's administering medication, sticking to their specific feeding schedule, or managing their quirky habits. We always come home to happy and healthy pups. She also goes above and beyond, providing regular updates with photos and videos, which gives us immense peace of mind given the dynamics of our dogs. Beyond her competence, it's her genuine affection for animals that truly sets her apart. She treats our fur babies as if they were her own, showering them with attention and affection. It's clear that pet care isn't just a job for her; it's a passion. I wholeheartedly recommend Jenna to anyone looking for a pet caregiver who is not only trustworthy and responsible but also deeply caring and compassionate. Your pets will be in the best possible hands with her.”

“Remi has watched my pug Lola, many times and always provides the utmost care and attention. Remi also sends me lots of pictures and updates while she is watching her, which is great since I always miss my dog while I'm away. Elizabeth O.
“I’m happy to highly recommend Elizabeth as a prompt, flexible and friendly pet sitter. She has pets of her own and she takes care of mine as if they were hers. Elizabeth has taken care of my babies a number of times and they LOVE her. She is an excellent communicator as well, texting updates and pics regularly. It’s such a relief to be able to travel and not worry in the least about my fur-kids. Elizabeth is the best!”

Makena C.
“I have known Makena most of her life. She is one the most loving and kind people I know. I have seen her interactions with my own pets along with how she interacts with the neighborhoods animals and it is always with compassion and love. I would highly recommend Makena for anyone needing care for their four legged family members.”

Sara S.
“Sara has been involved with many pets, growing up with a Brittany Spaniel and a part lab/dalmation as a baby, then having Corgis and a Pomeranian throughout her childhood. Sara has had many cats in her lifetime and has a wonderful sense of humor when working with animals. Sara was an active 4-H member in Kalamazoo County who raised rabbits, pocket pets and also placed highly in Dog Obedience and Dog Showmanship. Sara also has been a dog sitter for our 65 pound German Shephard on several occasions while we've travelled. I’d highly recommend her!”
Norteast Citizens Action dog parents share their Rover experiences
Katie has done a few walks with my old lady, and I've seldom seen Niela happier. She was just so relaxed and so happy. After a stressful move, I was worried Niela would be stressed by a new person but just the opposite. I'm very grateful for Katie and see many repeat walks in the future.

Amazing!!! He genuinely cared about my dog’s well being & sent pics with constant communication. I had Binx stay at Whiskers resort & hired Joshua for daily walks which helped him tremendously, even whiskers said it helped my high energy, nervous boy. Thanx again for taking Binx to a beautiful park & not just a sidewalk AND for picking up that xtra day

Super gentle and patient one of my dogs takes a while to warm up to people but emma was super gentle and was willing to help

My dog was happy to see him come to walk and play, he treats my dog like his own and gives him all the love well I’m gone at work. He follows my instructions and how I like things done with my dog very well! High recommend

Emma always does such a stellar job taking our pup for a walk. Great communication and great photos! We Always feel reassured when Emma is taking our pup for a walk knowing he is in great hands!

Evan jumped in when I was booking kind of late. He did a great job and also sent some really good pictures of playing fetch.

Elizabeth is so wonderful!!! She is always on time and also consistently communicates with me during the walk. I truly enjoy her enthusiasm and how great she takes care of my fur baby. I'm so happy I found her!

Hallie walked my dog Tuck every day for a week, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided! She was always on time, incredibly attentive, and really thorough in making sure Tuck got the attention and exercise he needed. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Hallie clearly loves what she does, and it shows. I will definitely be using her again in the future and have already started recommending her to friends. Highly recommend!
