About: i have fostered puppies basically my whole life. neighbors and family friends have asked me to watch their pets. i am in school to become a vet. i dont have a job so i have all of the time to play with your fur babies! i would just need a couple of days in advance! i will spend time with your pet. i wont just let them out and then leave i will sit with them and spend lots of time with them.

About: My family and I are trained as a foster parent through Pawmetto lifeline but I am currently taking a small break or else I will end up with 20 dogs! I have been around animals my whole life and feel that a home is not complete without them. I am very comfortable with adjusting my life to their routines and active training. I DO REQUIRE PROOF OF FLEA, TICK, & HEARTWORM MEDICATION *Note: I will accept exclusive boarding (just your dog) if booked far enough in advance for an additional rate. Your pet would do perfect with me! I am a full-time online students and mama. This leaves me with open available and perfect for the pets who struggle with separation anxiety. Our days consist of some classes then walks when the weather is nice, zoomies in our large shaded backyard, car rides, and of course some much-needed nap time! I have a house where dogs ARE allowed on the couch and bed, a big fenced yard, and a warm cement patio for basking in the sun. Plus various shaded areas, on hot days I do limit out time side to prevent over heating. I have various rooms in my house to section off if the fur-baby needs some "me time". I am trained in the unlikely event of a dog fight to safely separate the dogs.

“Rebecca was outstanding with my two cats. She was timely and professional with daily drop-ins and I could not be happier with her help. Definitely put my mind at ease during my trip!!”

“Rachel is the only dog sitter you could ever want to care for your beloved furry family members! She treated our pooch like her own and showered him with affection and plenty of exercise during each visit. I felt like she was a match made in heaven for our Rufus and us with her sweet updates on him, humor and lots of pictures to make us smile. Can’t thank her enough for caring so well for him while we were away!!”

“Natalie came and let our dogs out while we were away for two days, and the boys loved her! She was very attentive and took great care of them. We will definitely be reaching back out to her again in the future!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life, growing up on a farm in a rural setting I’ve had lots of experience house or farm sitting for neighbors and friends. I am very aware of animal behavior and signs of discomfort or anxiety. I have a dog and cat of my own who are like my children, I take excellent care of them and will be sure to do the same for yours! I work full time 9-5, but am flexible within that schedule for drop ins or before/after work walks and care. My daily routine contains my own pets care, so adding another dog to the daily walks could be fun for all involved! I take the dogs on walks throughout my neighborhood. It is a small and safe area within forest acres. Otherwise I know of several fenced parks to take the dogs for off leash fun.

“Daquan was great with my dog while I was away!”

“Leon is kind and patient. My dog took to him right away, and by the third visit was playful and happy when Leon came for a visit. I HIGHLY recommend Leon!!”

About: I have seven fur babies that would love an extra play partner; a doberman, two spaniels, and four GSPs. Form time to time I will also have a foster doggo! We are home pretty much every day all day except for during the day in the week. Weekends we love to hangout with all the doggos at home. We have a 1 acre fenced-in backyard for any in house vacationing pups! I have been pet sitting since I was really young and took a passion with it when my mom used to do it. I would love the opportunity to help you out so it's possible for you to go on vacation or a small weekend without worrying about your babies! I can't wait to get to know you and your pups!

“Took amazing care of my dog while I was out of town. Had great communication with me the whole time and my dog loved hanging out with Lina! ❤️”

About: Hi! I am new to SC, recently moved from FL, and new to Rover. However, I am not new to caring for domestic animals! I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I have an accumulated 10 years of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. The animals I have been able to care for have been my own, family's and friend's. I am an ex-military spouse. I've done day care, house sitting, boarding, and drop-in visits for people with high security profiles. I have experience with puppies, senior or ill animals, shelter history animals, and difficult intelligent stubborn and power, and herding breeds. I use positive rewarding with the animals and I believe this paired with other training methodologies work best for your pets life-long learning (an animal never stops training). I also use pet corrector aerosol for breaking up or stopping any unwanted behavior that otherwise would injure me to do by force or if the breed is much larger than me and leash pulls or lunges a lot (I weigh 100lbs and I am 4'11"! I need all the non-forceful and safest enhancements I can get). It works really well and I recommend to all dog owners that have a hard time stopping behavior without e-collars, chokers, etc. Dakota, my dog has never had an e-collar and she behaves really well and is obedient thanks to its help and to additional amateur training I did with her by myself. I clean/disinfect my home every day in the mornings and at night, between visits, and at your home services so that areas where the animals are at are hygienic. I have experience making homemade meals for dogs. I have experience with mitigating and adjusting for allergies. I can identify behavioral issues like reactivity, anxiety, high prey drive, and boredom in a dog in order to mitigate it and correct it if necessary. I want their success and their ease while they are in my care. I try to make most walks structured walks so that way your furry friend has some stimulation even on short walks. I clean up any Oopsies the doggy may have done inside of the home. Prices may vary. I do walks 4 times in the day when at my home and 2 while I am away at work and depending on the weather. I give baths as long as the dog is safe and comfortable and if necessary. Prices vary. I am a professional in the food and beverage industry and my schedule varies throughout the week. Please send me a direct message to discuss and verify my availability of the dates and times for the care of your loved animal friend. Care in my home: I do not have a fence which I prefer because it gives a lot of free roaming space for my dog and other dogs. I always make sure to practice meticulous leash training and exploring with the dogs. Sometimes it is even better that way to keep their attention engaged and structure their walks so that they are well stimulated after their walks and have little energy for escape stunts! 15-20 minutes of sniffari's is equivalent to 1 hour of physical exertion for these common domestic furry friends. Care in your home: There is nothing they like more than classical conditioning reinforcement, if necessary. This means I try to do some training tricks which keep them engaged and stimulated. I make sure to address any specific instructions from you and ask questions. If I see the animal tends to have a bad habit at something specific I will check with you to see if they would be okay with my mitigation of the situation: i.e.) if a puppy likes to chew at chords I would ask you if you are okay with me putting the chords in unreachable places around the home or unplugging them. Of course, knowing there is a possibility that I may have to keep up with that task throughout the service. I make sure to keep doors locked of any rooms that the animals are not allowed in. I also reset everything in your home as you left it, unless otherwise requested differently.

“Kayla was great with my elderly Chihuahua! I received numerous updates about their walks and his eating. He received all of his medication and supplements and was very chipper upon returning.”

About: Having grown up in a house full of dogs, cats and birds, I generally have lived with animals most of my life. All my animals have always been rescues. In fact, I've never chosen a dog or cat. They've always chosen me. When I lived elsewhere without animals, I house sat and took care of other peoples dogs and cats. While living elsewhere, I decided to take up dog training as a side hustle and enrolled in a course to become a certified dog trainer. I had to move back to SC in the middle, but finished my training and earned my certification. I've never used it professionally but I learned a lot and I've used the skills I learned with my own dogs and cats. Currently, I have 2 senior dogs. I cherish every day I have with them. I work full time, but generally have Fridays and the weekends off. I am fairly flexible with times. I might be able to do afternoon visits during the rest of the week. I follow your lead on what your pet needs. They will get whatever they need, plus a little extra love. =) I am used to giving medications, even clipping toenails, among various other things our furbabies need.

I've owned horses, dogs, cats, lizards, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, ect! My schedule changes a lot honestly with me balancing school and my teams schedule but I am trying to save up money to put towards a down-payment on a house so I'm willing to work with my schedule where I can. At clients home I am very respectful of clients space and animals space. I will socialize with the animal and make sure it gets enough interaction in during the visit. I will leave the space better then I found it and make sure it stays clean.
