About: I’m a new to Ann Arbor pet parent interested in helping you care for your furry friends! I’ve been a dog owner since I was a kid; my childhood dog was a deaf Jack Russell Terrier, and I’m now the proud dog mom of the cutest 60-lb rescue mutt. I’m a strong communicator, patient, friendly and detail-oriented; I’ll make sure all instructions are followed and your dog is shown a warm and comfortable experience. I’m currently on the job hunt after recently relocating to Ann Arbor for my partner’s graduate studies, and can be flexible to your pet care needs! I work part-time in retail but can easily work around my schedule for your pet. I am conscientious and will be respectful of your home while caring for your pet — whether that’s while taking your dog on a walk or doing in-home care/check-ins while you’re out of town. In my home, I take my dog on four 10-45 minute walks each day, with additional play time in the home.

“Amber was super communicative and followed my high maintenance pup’s instructions. She helped me out in a pinch! Highly recommend”

“Katie and Kristin were very responsive and took great care of our two dogs. They went above and beyond and seem to really love animals - our dogs certainly like them! We would highly recommend and would reach out to them again, only have positive things to say!”

“Cassidy was so great with my anxious high energy dog! Needed a dog walker last minute and she was able to accommodate. Cassidy knew how to interact with Pepper to make her feel comfortable quickly. Have rebooked and will be using regularly moving forward.”

“Ariana did a wonderful job! She is thoughtful and kind and an excellent caregiver. I would definitely book her services again. Thank you, Ariana!”

“Vienne does a great job walking, and Adam (my black lab) looks forward to her weekly visit. She is kind and patient and handles him well. Thanks for your caring ways! Mimi Block”

About: I’ve personally taken care of dogs for 9 years and always play with them and catch their feelings closely to meet their needs! Really good at potty cleaning and senior care I currently working as part time, so i have a plenty of time for pet sitting and give a lot of attention to the pets as they needed! When visiting client’s home, always look around what to use and expect and listen the client’s advise for the pets. When visiting my home, normally clean and able to use space to run around for the pets

“Julie was awesome walking my dog. She was punctual, friendly and super communicative. Most of all, my pup was really excited to see her everyday!”

About: I helped raise Kooikerhondje puppies when I was 12 and 13 during my summer vacations. While I have more experience with cats than dogs, I can confidently say that I absolutely adore dogs and understand the basics of their care! I live in downtown Ann Arbor and can hop on my bike and rush to take care of your furry friend or house in cases last minute vacation plans or emergencies! I have an endless amount of energy for playing that makes for being a good human companion to an animal, and with a mischievous cat at home, I understand how important enrichment is in an animal's life. Even if an animal is not interested in engaging with me, it's important to remain in the house for an extended period so that the animal knows that someone is there. And of course, I'm always ready to give cuddles to the sleepy dog or cat! I work to keep homes, especially animal spaces, clean and tidy because animals deserve clean spaces just as humans do.

“Thanks, CT! CT has been caring for my three dogs for a few months, and our family is pleased. CT is conscientious and timely, genuinely enjoys animals, is always gentle. One of my dogs is super energetic, while another is aged and persnickety. CT seems comfortable with all types of dogs; that all three rush him as soon as he's here is a testimony to their excitement and happiness with him. Recommend.”

“Bert was thrilled to see her!”

“She was very responsive and so great with my dog!”

About: I have loved for and cared for animals my entire life. With my childhood dogs currently back with family while I attended U of M (both of which I deeply miss and face time every day just so I can see and talk to them) I am eager to have the opportunity to care for your furry friend. I have a great deal of experience and understanding caring for a variety of different breeds, from high energy working dogs to low energy lap dogs. I also have experience caring for dogs throughout all life stages, from crate and potty training puppies to comforting sun downing seniors. I am also well familiar about how our furry friends communicate. I genuinely love taking the time to get to know them and their individual quirks, even if they may take some time to warm up. I also recognize that some of our furry rescue friends come with complex trauma and trust issues. Having grown up with rescues who have taken prolonged periods to fully come out of their shells. I understand the patience, care and time it can take for them to feel safe with new people and is something I am quite comfortable navigating. I am currently on summer break so my schedule is quite open and flexible! Let me know what times and days you are looking for and I will do my best to accommodate :). I do not take the responsibility and trust of caring for your home and furry children lightly. My goal is to treat your home and pets with the same care, love, and respect I would my own, if not more. Communication is important to me, so please do not hesitate to reach out and express any question, concerns, or desires so that I am able to meet and exceed your expectations when caring for your pets and/or home. I like to keep an open line of communication so that everyone involved feels comfortable and involved with any aspects of care.

About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up with Border Collies in my household.
